Hisresearch areas are primarily centered on Australian contemporary literature andapplied linguistics. Besides sixteen books that embrace monographs, collectionof papers, and textbooks and book translated, he has published around thirtyarticles in such journals as Foreign Literature Review, ContemporaryLiterature Studies, and Foreign Literatures and Journal of ForeignLanguages. His honors mainly include the Excellent Achievement Prize ofGraduates awarded by the Education Committee of Shanghai Municipal Government,Special Award for the Translation of Australian Classic Novels by theAustralian China Council of Australian Government.
