He Gangqiang,the Professor in Foreign Language and Literature College, doctoral supervisorand the director of the Translation Department of Fudan University, is also thepresident of Shanghai Science and Technology Translation Society, chief editorof Shanghai Journal of Translators and a committee member of China NationalCommitte for MTI Education. In 2014, he was honored the “senior translator” byChina Translator Association. Prof. He published five academic monographs, twotranslation works and two translation textbooks, and several papers in Chinese Translators Journal, Shanghai Journal of Translators, and otherrepresentative core journals. Besides, he visited several universities inBritish, America, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong for academic communicationsand exchanges. In 2004, 2006 and 2007, Prof. He was granted various awardsincluding Shanghai Yucai Award, the top teacher, the excellent supervisor ofpostgraduate and “The Best Teacher in My Heart” by the postgraduate students inFudan University. In 2011, He gained the “Virtue Teacher Pacesetter” inShanghai Educational and sanitation system.
