Brief introduction to Professor ZhouLingshun
Professor Zhou, Doctor, Professor, doctoralsupervisor, leading talent and director of translation behaviour researchcenter in Yangzhou University, is also the academic pacemaker of foreignlinguistics and applied linguistics, the executive director of ChinaAssociation for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese, deputy secretarygeneral of Jiangsu Translators Associationand the subeditor of Translation Forum. The research direction ofProfessor Zhou is language comparison and translation research. He hostedseveral fund programs at state, provincial level and published more than tenmonographs and translation works. He initiates the idea of translator behaviourcriticism and publishes dozens of papers in CSSIC journals such as ForeignLanguage Teaching and Research and Chinese TranslatorsJournal. Professor Zhou has been honored various awards about teaching andresearch.
